Kelli was born in Manchester, England and moved to Australia in 1991. She completed secondary school education at Matthew Flinders Anglican College on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. Kelli then went on to study a Bachelor of Science (Biomedical Science) at the University of the Sunshine Coast in 2003, after which she commenced her Bachelor of Laws at Queensland University of Technology.

She was admitted as a legal practitioner to the Supreme Court of Queensland and High Court of Australia in June 2008.In March 2015, Kelli opened her own practice in Nundah Village, with the second KLM Solicitors office opening in Cleveland in August 2016.Kelli specialises in Family, Criminal, Domestic Violence matters. She works across a range of Legal Aid and Private matters in both Brisbane and the regional courts. Kelli is also engaged in community legal work with Women’s Legal Service on a regular basis and is a member of the Family Law Practitioners Association. With a fast-growing business and two children under four, Kelli juggles her busy life well!

A graduate of UQ, Shannon was admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2014 and has practiced family law since her admission, having first started working in family law 2 years prior to becoming a solicitor.
 
Born on Brisbane’s Northside she loves cuddling with her husky-cross rescue dog, reading and occasionally treading the boards of amateur theatre stages in north Brisbane.

Originally a Detective Senior Sergeant and Police Prosecutor with the NSW Police Force for over 16 years, Laura has seen both sides of the system. She was admitted as a lawyer in 2014 and has over 12 years of advocacy experience as a result of her prosecuting experience.
 

As a former Detective she also has knowledge in regards to police procedure, investigations and methodology. She holds a Bachelor of Laws, a Bachelor of Social Science (Criminology) and numerous Diplomas in legal and policing fields. Before joining KLM, Laura was the state-wide Legal Consultant for Domestic and Family Violence for the NSW Police Force.

 

She is a passionate advocate and having worked ‘both sides of the fence’ as a police prosecutor and as defence lawyer, she is uniquely positioned to apply her extensive knowledge of the system, along with years of practical experience, to gain the best outcome for her clients.

An accredited Children’s and Adult Duty Lawyer in the Brisbane Magistrates Court, Jane is passionate about helping those that require extra assistance due to mental health, social or economic factors and volunteers tutoring refugee families with the VoRTECS program. Jane loves the beach, mountain climbing and anything outdoors.
